State Theatre Volunteer Group
State Theatre AAUW Vounteers 3rd Saturdays, year round, 12-3. Jobs are ushering (includes taking tickets, running the vacuum and carpet sweeper, checking the bathroom), concessions (usually assigned to popcorn OR drinks OR cash register), and box office (using the easy-to-learn computer/cash register, answering the phone). The "what's in it for me" is that AAUW gets a mention in the list of volunteer groups; signage at the theatre that day, wears "Ask Me About AAUW" pins and it is lots of fun......the patrons are happy to have such an attractive theatre and are grateful to what they know is an all-volunteer effort.
Please email or call Bonnie for more info or to volunteer. bkwillings@yahoo.com or 929-2036
